Fire safety is essential in every workplace – fires start easily and spread quickly. Employers and workers all have a role to play in reducing the risk of fire. Fire safety is covered by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

This course provides general advice and guidance on fire safety. It covers employers’ legal requirements for fire safety and prevention. It also provides information on substances that cause fire, how to respond to a fire emergency, how to use a fire extinguisher, and how to prevent fires from occurring.
