Psychosocial Risk Management (AU)
Mental health risks to workers are on the increase – highlighted more so by the pandemic – and costing the economy tens of billions of dollars a year. Managing the risks associated with psychosocial hazards not only protects workers, it also decreases the disruption associated with staff turnover and absenteeism, and may improve broader organisational performance and productivity. This course is designed to help managers identify hazards that give rise to psychosocial risks, and describe controls that can be implemented to eliminate or minimise them. Recognising and promoting mental health is an essential part of creating a safe and healthy workplace.
Covered in this course:
- Importance of psychosocial risk awareness
